Ok, to be honest, I'm a bit disappointed by Vampire Weekends new album; too electronic, not enough calypso. But, all is forgiven because Wu-Tang's very own RZA stars in their new video. How cool is that?
I was also surprised to see cameos from Joe Jonas of the Gayass Brothers, Jake Gyllenhaal (who has quite a cool part in it, too), and Lil' Jon.

»THE WORST IS YET TO COME«

Lonely Forest "We Sing in Time"
Well, what can I say: for me it was love at first listen. I probably won't like it as much when it becomes the soundtrack to American Pie 235: Dudes love big titties.

In Time the trees die and light will fade
But I hope for a new breath, a new life to take me away…
Let us pretend we’ve got it together.
Let us ignore the coming sun.
We’ll sing the body electric until machine and soul are one.
I’ve see the tweaker struggle… syringes lined the floor.
A cycle churned to life by dead end jobs and a government’s war.
In Time the trees die and light will fade.
But I hope for a new breath, a new life to take me away…
One by one the monsters trample.
Through woods and dirt they feed.
What sort of world and plight for our children must we leave?
Let us burn the nation’s budget.
Let’s send boys overseas to fight ghosts in the desert instead of teaching them to give and lead…

Video: Caribou's "Odessa"
Ever since Lukas wrote about this track last friday i've been spellbound by Caribou's Odessa. Number one on my current playlist, "Odessa" will probably remain one of my favourite tracks of 2010 and I can't wait to hear the upcoming album.
Today, whilst browsing through the selection of blogs I tend to steal most of my posts from, I saw that Videomarsh have provided Caribou with an official, and in my opinion very well done, video. I won't get into describing the content or my feelings towards it because, quite frankly, I'm not too good at that sort of thing. And besides, it's best to make up your own mind, right? :)

Boy Crisis - The Fountain of Youth
Boy Crisis, one of Brooklyn's finest Pop Groups, are back with a smack! A great song comes along with an abundant video. Lovable dance moves (my favourite »the epileptic-finger-cue«) and the best micro-stand-style in the history of music videos.

The Morning Benders - "Excuses"
Yours Truly presents The Morning Benders performing their latest single "Excuses" with a group of friends from San Francisco. Sounding like it's been pulled straight out of the sixties, Chris's voice in combination with the various instruments and harmonies just blows me away.

Die Antwoord - Zef Side
A jerk in pink floyd-dark side of the moon boxershorts rapping and shaking his broner? What is this all about? Way too absurd!
